In a village of simple and well-taken care houses in Belo Horizonte, Dóris (Irene Ravache), an exuberant, sensual widow that is a refined cooker, offers a service of pension (dinner). Among her usual customers are Freitas (Lima Duarte) and Otávio (Marcos Caruso). Both around their 60’s, they alternate complicity and picking, and over all a tough competition about the beautiful widow’s heart. Freitas suggests a draw to Otávio: The winner will have a month win Doris’ heart. If he can’t, he will let the other take his chances.
