The story of a simple-hearted Brazilian family, engaged in the meanders of the Brazilian political life of the 50’s, with the suicide of President Getúlio Vargas, going through the military regime established in 1964 and during twenty years after this date until the death of President Tancredo Neves, responsible for the redemocratization of the country.
The dreams of Brazilian politics, illusions, fear, terror, disappointment and hope, lived by simple-minded characters absorbed in their own hopes, fears and involved with the tragedies of their own lives.
