New York Brazilian Film Festival - September 3rd to Sep 12 of 2005
The New York Brazilian Film Festival 2005 is an international competitive festival, which is being held to create an opportunity to show Brazilian films in New York and aims to expose the Brazilian filmmakers capable to becoming part of what is considered to be the biggest industry of audio-visual in the world.
The Festival aims to discover the talent of Brazilian Filmmakers, as well as contributing to the propagation and development of the Brazilian film industry in the United States.

21 st BRAZILIAN DAY IN NYC - SUNDAY, September 4th, 2005
On Sunday, September 4th, 46th Street (Little Brazil) between 6th Avenue and Times Square plus 6th Avenue (bet. 42nd and 56th Street) will be closed to all traffic and open to a fabulous Brazilian street party!
The festivities will include traditional Brazilian food, drinks, art and handcrafts. There will be two stages for entertainment offering exciting live Brazilian music and dance all day. Brazilian Day in New York is the unique opportunity to enjoy real Brazilian rhythms. The energetic group of musicians, percussionists, singers and dancers is sure to drive the crowd wild! Festival guests include some very special surprise personalities plus a host of local talent.
